Hurricane-rated window and door systems for South Florida's custom homes, spec homes and boutique commercial projects, supplied, engineered and installed by our own crews.

Double-height impact glass walls and sliders opening a great room to the garden, Snapper Creek Spec Home

From punched windows to oversized multi-panel sliders, floor-to-ceiling glass walls and solid wood pivot entries, we specify systems that meet High-Velocity Hurricane Zone requirements without compromising the architecture. We work with ESW, Eurocraft, Aldora, La Finestra, Eurowall, SIMPAS, Solar Innovations, Custom Doors and Signature Door, and recommend the right system for the design, the opening sizes and the schedule.

Every job starts with a verified field measure. We prepare the shop drawings and the product approval package (Florida Product Approval or Miami-Dade NOA, valid for the HVHZ where required), coordinate with your architect and GC, and order to confirmed dimensions. On site, our installers set, anchor, seal and finish each opening, including the break metal that closes it out, and we stay on after turnover with service packages that keep hardware adjusted and warranties in good standing.

Questions
Do I need impact windows in South Florida?

Miami-Dade and Broward sit in the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone under the Florida Building Code, which requires openings to be impact-rated or protected. On new construction and major renovations, impact windows and doors are the standard way to meet that requirement while keeping the view.

What is a Florida Product Approval or a Miami-Dade NOA?

Both are product approvals that document a window, door or railing system's tested performance. A Florida Product Approval (FL#) is issued by the state through the Florida Building Commission. When it is marked as approved for use in the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ), it is accepted in Miami-Dade and Broward, and today it is the approval most manufacturers carry. A Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance (NOA) is issued by the county and is also valid in the HVHZ. We confirm every system carries a current approval that is valid for your location and include it in the shop drawing and permit package.

Do you handle shop drawings and permits?

Yes. We prepare shop drawings and product approval packages and coordinate them with your architect, engineer and general contractor so the glazing scope moves through permitting with the rest of the job.

Which window and door systems do you install?

We work with ESW, Eurocraft, Aldora, La Finestra, Eurowall, SIMPAS, Solar Innovations, Custom Doors and Signature Door, among others. We recommend a system based on the design, the opening sizes, the budget and the lead time the schedule allows.

How long do impact windows take?

Lead time depends on the manufacturer and the system, and custom European and oversized units take longer than standard aluminum. We confirm the lead time and an installation schedule with every proposal, and order only after field dimensions are verified.

Can you replace windows while we live in the house?

Yes. We regularly remove and replace windows and doors in occupied homes, working opening by opening so the house is closed up at the end of each day and disruption stays to a minimum.
